Putting My Money Where My Mouth Is

October 3rd, 2007 by Andrew

I’ve been saying I could do it for years - and alluded that maybe I should do it for almost as long - but I’ve finally decided that I’m going to go vegetarian for a while. Both Andy and I have made several posts about the inefficiency involved in meat production over the past year, but it took a while for it to sink in that being a meat-eating environmentalist is awfully hypocritical. The energy I save turning off my compact fluorescent lights when I’m not in the room pales in comparison to the energy I’m wasting when I eat a hamburger instead of tofu.

Wish me luck, and if anyone has any good vegetarian recipes, shoot them my way!
